Fuel prices expected to go up by 11% from June 16

The Prices of petroleum products in Ghana are anticipated to increase by 11% effective, Thursday, June 16, 2022.

This is based on data that Joy Business had secured

According to the data secured from the Bulk Oil Distribution Companies, a litre of diesel will increase by 11.14%, while petrol sell at 13%.

Petrol is now sold on the market for about ¢10.10 per litre, whereas diesel is going for ¢12.20.

This huge increment is expected to force commercial transport operators to increase their fares.

The increase consequently will lead to increase rate of inflation and high cost of living.
