The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the release date of the results for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for School and Private Candidates, 2022.
In a previous interview, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the Ministry of Education, Kwasi Kwarteng, stated that the results will be made public on January 19.
However, the Council stated in a statement released today that it was now engaged in post-examination operations.
This comes following a successfully conducted in 2,023 centers and after co-ordination and marking activities were finished.
WAEC in the latest press statement noted that BECE for both School and Private Candidates, 2022 will be released on Wednesday, 25th January 2023.
A total of 553,408 candidates, including 1,132 private candidates, wrote the examination, which ended on Friday, October 21, 2022.
How to Check your BECE Results
- Go to https://eresults.waecgh.org/ which is the WAEC result checking portal.
- Enter your Index Number.
- Confirm your Index Number
- Select the Type of Examination (e.g. BECE).
- Select your Examination Year eg. 2022.
- Enter the Serial Number found on the Voucher.
- Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Voucher eg. 012345678912.
- Click on Submit and wait for the display in the popup window.
This may take several minutes.
