The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that all SHS-3 candidates preparing for the 2021 WASSCE examination are to observe Mid-Semester break.
According to the GES, the Mid-Semester Break for final year students covers students in technical schools. The break begins on Tuesday, July 20 to Sunday, July 25, 2021, and Academic work should resume on Monday, July 26, 2021.
This was disclosed in a Press Statement to all Regional Directors of Education.
“Students who do not wish to go home or find it difficult to go home should be allowed to remain in the school and Heads are to ensure that they are fed and follow all school rules.” part of the statement read.
The Regional Directors of Education are to communicate the decision of the Ghana Education Service to all Headteachers in their regions and districts.
