Apple has announced the end of one of its iconic products, the iPod, after 21 years of production. Years ago, music lovers were obsessed with the iPod. However, times have changed, and Apple has decided to retire the iPod.

The iPod, which was introduced by Steve Jobs on October 23, 2001, wasn’t the first music player on the market. Nonetheless, the product, design and all, transformed how people listened to music and persuaded many to abandon CDs.

When the gadget was first released, Steve Jobs famously stated, “With iPod, listening to music will never be the same again.” In the end, events would show him correct.

At the time of its inception, the iPod could carry up to 1,000 songs.

It’s been a fun build-up to the product’s demise, and supporters still have nothing but wonderful things to say about it.

Apple now has its own streaming service, which makes using the iPod a chore. As Apple streamlines its offerings, the iPod will be phased out. Even still, those who used and liked the product will have fond recollections of it.

By the way, several analysts argue that after Apple released the iPhone, they predicted the iPod’s demise.
