The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly School of Nursing is a public nursing school in the Ghanaian capital of Kumasi. It is associated with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and is one of the country’s few nursing schools. Asante Mathew Memorial Nursing Training College

The Asante Mathew Memorial Nursing Training College (AMMNTC) is a Ghanaian post-secondary institution that educates nurses. It is situated in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, in Kumasi. It was founded in October of 1975.

Mrs. Asante Mathew, a Fante woman and a pioneer nurse in Ghana, is honored with the college’s name. She was the first African woman in the United Kingdom to train as a nurse. She returned to Ghana after completing her studies and worked at the Kumasi Central Hospital.
