Asante Mathew Memorial Nursing Training College

The Asante Mathew Memorial Nursing Training College (AMMNTC) is a Ghanaian post-secondary institution that educates nurses. It is situated in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, in Kumasi. It was founded in October of 1975.

Mrs. Asante Mathew, a Fante woman and a pioneer nurse in Ghana, is honored with the college’s name. She was the first African woman in the United Kingdom to train as a nurse. She returned to Ghana after completing her studies and worked at the Kumasi Central Hospital.
