COVID-19 Cases in Ghana Hits 1,042

The Ghana Health Service announced the COVID-19 cases has hit four figures (1,042) from the backlog of laboratory samples which have been picked for testing for COVID-19.

According the them, the total number of tested samples as at now stands at 68,591 with 1.52% testing positive.

However, it stated that “the results of these backlog of samples when released does not mean the number of new cases recorded on the day of the report.”

In addition, it was reported that, Regions that have reported cases still remains the Greater Accra, Ashanti, Eastern, Northern, Volta, Upper East, Upper West, Central, Western and North East regions.
