COVID-19: Ghana records 157 more cases, tally now 10,358

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ghana has risen to 10,358 as at June 11, 2020.

This represents an increase of 157 from the initial figure reported by the Ghana Health Service (GHS). The new infections were recorded in four regions: Greater Accra- 121, Eastern- 23, Volta- Four and Oti- nine.

69 more persons have recovered from the virus bringing the total number of recoveries to 3,824.

The GHS website, however, indicated that the number of deaths is still 48

Greater Accra Region is leading the chart with 6642 cases, Ashanti and Western Regions following with 1799 and 778 recorded cases respectively.
