A Ghanaian Police Officer has been reported to have tested positive for the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Police officer, according to multiple sources got infected with the virus after arresting an individual who unknowingly was a carrier of the virus.
Reports within the security agencies indicated that the suspect, who was apparently a carrier of the virus, was detained for a longer period at the Adentan police cells after court hearing because the Prison Service was not accepting new inmates as a result of the pandemic.
The officer has, however been asked to self-quarantine after he tested positive
