The organizers of the Teachers’ Excellence Awards is delighted to announce the awards ceremony dubbed Habour City Teachers’ Excellence Awards.
This prestigious award scheme is in collaboration with SPRING FIELD EVENTS, is delighted to officially inform you of the upcoming award designed to honor hardworking and selfless teachers and other community members within the geographical area of Tema, Ashaiman, Zenu, Katamanso, Ningo, Prampra, Sakumonoo, Bastonaa, Teshie, Nungua, Spintex environs for their contribution towards the promotion of education over the years.
The scheme is also designed to run three times a year and would be organized every four(4) months at different geographic zones in Ghana. Apart from awarding teachers the award scheme also supports education-related activities such as sports, infrastructure, and professional development.
The first edition of the awards was held on the 24th of December 2022 at Kwahu in the Eastern Region. The second edition is set to come off in May/July 2023 at TDC Auditorium in Tema.
Currently, the TEA has 170 nominees from over 30 schools, both basic and secondary for the Habour City Edition.Becoming Teacher of the Year is something many teachers dream of. The award will provide validation for years of hard work and sacrifice for the teaching profession, the awards will also come with some nice perks.
However, not just anyone can become Teacher of the Year. This award requires going above and beyond the regular duties of a teacher to truly make an impact on a school, district, or community.
Teachers’ Excellence Awards is a charitable organization built out of a keen desire to effect significant positive change in all sectors of education within Ghana. TEA work in partnership with the Ghana Education Service, Districts Assemblies, Traditional Authorities, Educational Institutions Parents, Teachers, and learners to respond to critical educational needs within Ghana.
