According to several reports, China’s Alibaba Group is testing a ChatGPT-style artificial intelligence (AI).

Sources have hinted that the company will integrate the new app with DingTalk. However, the company declined to comment if it would combine the technology with its communication app.

DingTalk is a communication app founded in 2014.

“Frontier innovations such as large language models and generative AI have been our focused areas since the formation of DAMO in 2017,” said an Alibaba spokesperson.

“As a technology leader, we will continue to invest in turning cutting-edge innovations into value-added applications for our customers as well as their end-users through cloud services,” the spokesperson added.

Different firms have been working hard to create AI technologies for consumers ever since ChatGPT first became popular and emerged on the scene.

Microsoft announced its new Bing search engine and Edge browser with AI capabilities.

Google also followed after announcing its ChatGPT rival called “Bard“.

Whereas Chinese search giant Baidu is also testing for a chatbot called Ernie.
