Uber Technologies, Inc. commonly known as Uber, is an American multinational ride-hailing company offering services that include peer-to-peer ridesharing, ride service hailing, food delivery, and a micro mobility system.

The Uber taxi service is one of the most used transport mediums in Ghana. Since its inception , passenger safety has been less of a worry for frequent or regular road users. Uber takes the comfort of not just the passenger at heart but that of the driver as well.  An instance where a passenger reports a driver for poorly conducting him or herself , the passenger is awarded with uber credits or trip refunded.  Correspondingly, a driver is also paid 5 cedis when a passenger cancels a trip 5 mins after booking. The 5 Cedis is debited from the account of the passenger.

In some cases , when a driver is booked for a trip , he or she fails to show up and or arrive late thus , compelling the passenger to cancel the trip. The app can’t really figure out the exact reason why you cancelled the trip until you report it. You will be charged if you don’t explain to Uber why you cancelled the trip. If your reasons make sense , you will be refunded. Below is a step by step process of how to report a similar case
