MTN Ghana introduced its eSIM, or embedded SIM, for smartphone users.
Customers of MTN who have smartphones that support eSIM will no longer require physical SIM cards as a result.
The introduction of the eSIM reaffirms MTN’s commitment to leading digital solutions for Africa’s progress, according to Noel Kojo-Ganson, Chief Commercial Officer of MTN Ghana.
Onboarding journey is strictly digital and will be done via myMTN App.
