Surfline is a Ghanaian owned wireless broadband and technology provider which provides 4G LTE mobile wireless
broadband connectivity.
The company was founded in 2011 with the National Communications Authority (NCA) awarding Surfline a Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) license the following year.
The Company launched Ghana’s first 4G LTE network (and Africa’s largest at the time) in August 2014 over the B7 (2600 MHz) band with theoretical peak data rates of 100 Mbps possible abolishing 2G or 3G mobile services.
