Paystack introduces ‘Pay With Apple Pay’ In Ghana & Nigeria

Paystack, a Nigerian fintech business, has integrated Apple Pay for its merchants in both Ghana and Nigeria (with international payments enabled).

As a result, users can now use Apple Pay as a method for accepting payments from clients.

What is Apple Pay

Apple Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service by Apple Inc. that allows users to make payments in iOS apps and on the web using Safari.

It is supported on the iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and Mac. It adds two-factor authentication via Touch ID, Face ID, PIN, or passcode.

Apple Pay is available to Ghanaian and Nigerian merchants that want to accept payments from users in the US, UK, Canada, and other countries where Apple Pay is supported.

How to activate Apple Pay on Paystack as a Merchant

Nigerian or Ghanaian merchant with international payments enabled for their business, can activate Apple Pay via their dashboard.

To activate Apple Pay;

  • Visit your Dashboard
  • Tap on Settings and tick the Apple Pay box under ‘Accept payments via.’

  • You will be directed to click to enable Apple Pay
  • Agree to Apple Pay Platform Web Merchant Terms and Conditions.

Apply Pay activation is done and ready for business.
