How to Setup AirtelTigo, MTN and Vodafone Internet Connection on your Phone

Have you acquired a new phone? Yes. Is your internet working? No, then its time to configure your internet settings on your smartphone.

Note that whenever you purchase a brand new phone, make sure you check if the internet is properly working if not, use these steps below to setup an internet connection on your mobile network (MTN, AirtelTigo, Vodafone).

How to setup AirtelTigo Internet settings

  1. Tap Settings on your Smartphone Menu
  2. On Android Go to Internet & Networks Or Wireless Settings then tap on Mobile networks and On iPhone tap on Mobile Data.
  3. Select Access Points Names to open. On iPhone select Mobile Data Network
  4. Create new APN
  5. Enter ‘AirtelTigo’ or ‘Internet’ as APN Name
  6. Select APN and enter ‘Internet’
  7. Save the Settings and switch on mobile data to enjoy your Internet.

How to setup MTN Internet settings

  1. Tap Settings on your Smartphone Menu
  2. On Android Go to Internet & Networks Or Wireless Settings then tap on Mobile networks and On iPhone tap on Mobile Data.
  3. Select Access Points Names to open. On iPhone select Mobile Data Network
  4. Create new APN
  5. Enter ‘MTN’ or ‘Internet’ as APN Name
  6. Select APN and enter ‘Internet’
  7. Save the Settings and switch on mobile data to enjoy your Internet.

How to setup Vodafone Internet settings

  1. Tap Settings on your Smartphone Menu
  2. On Android Go to Internet & Networks Or Wireless Settings then tap on Mobile networks and On iPhone tap on Mobile Data.
  3. Select Access Points Names to open. On iPhone select Mobile Data Network
  4. Create new APN
  5. Enter ‘Vodafone’ or ‘Internet’ as APN Name
  6. Select APN and enter ‘Internet’
  7. Save the Settings and switch on mobile data to enjoy your Internet.
