Transport fares to go down by 10% from May 17

The Road Transport Operators have announced that from Wednesday, May 17, the road transport fares will be reduced by 10% across the nation.

This is as a result of the reduction in petroleum products over the period.

The new prices will affect all forms of transport including Inter-city (trotro), Intercity (long distance) and shared taxis.

In a press statement, the Road Transport Operators urged drivers, commuters and the public to cooperate for the successful implementation.
