Japan has the world’s most travel-friendly passport, according to the most recent Henley Passport Index rankings.
Japan has topped the list for five years in a row per unique and verified data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
Surprisingly, Japanese nationals can now travel to 193 out of 227 locations without a visa whereas Afghanistan has the fewest visa-free destinations, remaining bottom of the list.
