The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), is encouraging people in general to patronize only hand sanitizers endorsed by the Authority.
Taking this into account, the FDA has introduced a rundown of enrolled sanitizers to keep people in general from purchasing unregistered and unsatisfactory ones.
The confirmed hand sanitizers incorporate AFRICAHAND SANITIZER (Ethanol 70%), 2BD HAND SANITIZER (Ethanol 80%), 360 GERMI KLEAN HAND SANITIZER (70% Isopropyl Alcohol), 360 NATURALS HAND SANITIZER GEL (70% Isopropyl Alcohol) and AABL HAND SANITIZER GEL (Ethanol 70%).
This disclosed in a statement by the Chief Executive Officer of the FDA, Mrs Delese Darko.
According to her, the move is to advance the utilization of viable hand sanitizers and help battle against the spread of the Coronavirus in Ghana.
The FDA expresses that it is a criminal offense to sell unregistered or inadequate hand unapproved hand sanitizers to buyers.
