The Ghana Private Roads Transport Union (GPRTU) have announced that, effective Saturday, February 26, road transport fares will go up by 15% across the nation.
The new prices is said to affect all forms of transport including Inter-city (trotro), Intercity (long distance) and shared taxis.
In a press statement, the Ghana Private Roads Transport Union (GPRTU) cautioned drivers against flouting the directive, saying those who charge unapproved would be arrested.
The GPRTU have asked Members, Commuters and the General public to kindly comply with the latest transport fares. Find below the new prices of transport fares below;
