How to register for AT eSIM on your Phone

In Ghana, AT introduced an eSIM, or embedded SIM, for smartphone users.

Customers of AirtelTigo who have smartphones that support eSIM will no longer require physical SIM cards as a result.

Leo Skarlatos, AT’s chief executive officer, stated during the launch “with the introduction of eSIM, AT continues to stay ahead of the curve where innovation is concerned by giving its customers the much-desired flexibility.”

How to register for AT eSIM

  • To check if your devices supports eSIM, dial *#06#.
  • If the barcodes have EID (the phone is eSIM enabled).
  • Visit any nearby AirtelTigo office with a valid National ID to purchase an eSIM.
